Meet Jo and the Team


Jo has been working for Club Vass for the last 7 years and has been a full time instructor at all three centres for the past 4 years where she has been heading up the Club Vass Divas as well as being the only female level 5 instructor on the beach. She has written articles for the windsurfing press and recently entered her first competition, the National Freestyle Finals, where she would have done very well had there been girls to compete against on the only windy day of the event! Nicky Cotterill

Little Nicky! Those of you who were in Vass in the summer of 2005 will remember this lovely lady who when not windsurfing was to be found laughing and giggling behind the bar. Probably the happiest and most fun-loving girl in the world Nicky is extremely enthusiastic about windsurfing and, although wasn’t an instructor, was always on hand to give help to others and definitely inspired the Divas of that season. Watch out for this pint sized ripper in Cornwall - chances are you’ll hear the laughter before you see her!

Rachel Tucker

Rachel Tucker (also known as Boozy Rach!) could be classed as a windsurfing addict. She is the smiliest person in the world and there is no challenge that this lady will not take on which makes her one of the best female sailors around. When shes not fixing animals (this multi-talented girl is also a vet) Rach spends every spare minute windsurfing so you are bound to catch her on the water somewhere!

Louise Williams

Louise Williams has worked in the world of windsurfing for nearly half her life and is a very experienced instructor. With her famous and infectious laugh Lou is great fun to be around/ sail with/ party with. She used to be one of our Diva instructors but you will now find her behind a lens capturing all the on and off water action. In fact the majority of pictures on this site were taken by Lou, so don’t forget to smile when you see her!

Genevieve Morphy

Genevieve Morphy has worked many seasons for Club Vass and is currently in Turkey. She will be a familiar and friendly face to anyone who has been to Club Vass and is famed for her fun-loving, optimistic approach to life. Gen is fantastically passionate about windsurfing and this motivates all her students who find her endless enthusiasm infectious. The Divas miss her a lot - come back Gen!
